100 Baby Challenge

I'm about to finish the 100 baby challenge (#100 is born, but still a toddler) and am curious to hear other stories. I finished in two generations, although just barely. Is that "good"? lol Obviously it's not a competition but I'm curious as to how long it takes most people. I've tried looking up some Youtube videos but everyone is cheating and/or using tons of mods that make it not fun for me to watch. The only "cheat" I did was to pick a new trait when the randomizer picked Mean or Hates Children because they were popping up way too often and the automated dialogue is broken anyway, what with perfectly nice sims doing mean interactions autonomously anyway.

    Wow, congratulations on (almost) finishing the challenge! I've given it a couple of tries, but I usually give up way too quickly (after kid number 6 is born or so... oops). I'm very curious to hear how 'quick' others are as well, as two generations doesn't sound like much to me! Did you use any youth potions or something? And do you maybe have any tips on how to keep the gameplay interesting? I'm very tempted to give it another try after reading your post 🙂

    Thanks! I did not use any youth potions, just popped out babies as quickly as possible lol. I had the ley line and good schools lot traits, and started in a tiny home to get the bonuses. I personally find the chaos of babies and toddlers engaging by itself, as well as trying to puzzle out even better ways of optimizing the challenge. My first generation had 47 and my second 53 so I did get better at it.

    How long have you been working on this challenge? Just curious. I want to try it but that's a LOT of toddlers to tolerate. Lol
