Please follow these steps to test your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc
- Create a backup of your save game
- Move your mods folder to the desktop
- Delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.
- Test on the backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

Thanks, crin. I tested this as you suggested. The bug persists on a completely fresh unmodded The Sims 4 folder in completely new saves.

I have also had this bug for multiple years (since at least Growing Together released, but likely before too). It occurs in both modded and unmodded saves, and affects all Sims who ride bikes (children and adults).

If any of you are still encountering this on the latest game version (without mods), would you be willing to share your save file(s)?
If so, please send me a private message with a link to the file. Instructions can be found here: https://forums.ea.com/idea/the-sims-4-bug-reports-en/information-how-to-send-user-files-to-the-sims-4-team/5048472

Hi Solaire
I DM'ed you a link to the save file. The bug is still happening on the latest patch and in completely new save files on a brand new vanilla folder.
I don't believe this issue to be related to individual save files. My guess is it might be related to certain machines. I play on a 2020 Macbook Pro (M1), 13 inch, 8GB RAM, macOS Sequoia.
I remember experiencing this as early as Cottage Living released and it has been persistent since then.

Hey team, I noticed that my Sims don't look to the front when they ride a bicycle but always shift their head sidewards, which is unnatural when driving a vehicle, see screenshot.
I noticed that on Mac and PC, and tried it on several bicycles, the ones from University and from Businesses and Hobbies. It doesn't matter if I use the interaction "ride around on bicycle.." or just "Bike here" both have the same head shift. It's not that they are looking at some point of interest, they constantly have the head shifted by default, which looks unnatural for driving a bicycle.
I tried using first person cam to move their head to the front and then go out of first person cam again, but it did not help, they still change back to the sidewards shift.
I have all pack that exist and am testing without mods.
