Alien-Wizard / Wizard-Alien?

Since I'm not complaining, but kinda are, I'm gonna open up this here.

I have a wizard alien.

How it happened? My Sim got abducted once he became a wizard, he got pregnant, he had triplets, two girls and a boy, all purple and perfect. Everything was normal until I noticed there was something wrong with the boy. Once the three of them became toddlers I proceeded to modify their camouflage (aka their "normal" appearance) in CAS and noticed I couldn't change the boy's. So I said, perfect! he's pure alien, right? But one thing bugged me: he appeared as a human in the family portrait. Long story short: I cannot modify this alien boy human appearance because it simply won't appear in CAS and his in-game traits show him as a wizard, even though his traits in CAS are nor alien, nor wizard, as opposed to his sisters. =(

How this happened? Why me? Why him? What did I do to deserve this? j/k. The only problem I have is his clothes, his human clothes are terrible and I cannot change that. I don't care if he's an alien wizard, or wizard alien, I will love him, I'm his father.

PS. Will he be able to go to uni?

    OMG! and he shows green in-game while purple in CAS :o

    @paolaelectra Did your Sim get pregnant this way before or after the recent patch ?

    This is a known bug but it's supposed to be fixed for all Alien/Occult combinations. If you had one before the patch, it will still be a problem though.

    You can just make them Alien only and the bugs should go away.

    @crinrict Hi!

    Uhmmm yeah, he got pregnant a while ago, just days or weeks after the release of RoM. Didn't know it was a known bug, I searched for it, I swear.

    Anyhow, how do I make him Alien only? And what would happen if I let him be? Will he be a wizard alien? :D

    @paolaelectra He just will have all the bugs you described, don't know if there's any other issues.

    it should be enough to take him to the magic realm and ask the sages there to no longer be a spellcaster. That would make him alien.

    If you want to remove the alien part you'll need to remove some hidden traits via cheat.

    @crinrict If I take him to the spellcasters now, will they remove the trait? He's a boy... nvm, I'll try 😉

    So... this leads me to ask you: How are hidden traits removed and which trait would that be? As far as I know, there's no cheat to un-alien an alien, or is it?

    @paolaelectra you can ask the sages to make them human again (currently unsure of the exact wording of the interaction). That should remove all spellcasters traits

    You should be able to remove the occult alien trait but it's probably more than one and I would need to look up the exact terms (which I can't right now as you can see how busy everything is).

    Maybe someone else can assist you with that if that's the way you want to go.
