SickCicada Try replacing the mailbox. If that doesn't help, try a different save.
If that doesn't work either, remove accountDataDB.package from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. This will remove interim progress on your tasks (but you can restore this file later if you want), and it might also reset something with the event in general that would help here.
Does this reset your progress in the event and start the event over?
The first time I was unable to get the Ambrosia Society letter I deleted the mailbox and placed a different one. But now that’s not working. I’m trying a different save, but that’s not working either. I haven’t seen the mail carrier in several Sim days. I don’t have mods in my game, so that’s not causing this glitch.
Is there an EA update? Trying this next.

tswarbrick Deleting accountDataDB erases your progress on any set of tasks you haven't completed. So if you've finished week 2 and done a couple of week 3 tasks, you'd need to repeat the week 3 tasks but not anything from week 2.
Having said that, the mail carrier not showing up at all is odd and not one of the usual Reaper event issues. Does this happen in a new save with no mods or custom content? Does it happen on a default EA lot in one of the base game worlds? Even if you'd never play on one of these lots, or without mods or cc for that matter, it's a useful test.

Hello puzzlezaddict,
tysm for responding.
It’s not really a new save, but a new family that I began the event with, and it’s not the original family or lot within the save. It’s not a default EA lot or a base game world. It’s a lot that I built in Windenburg as a Residential Rental uploaded to the gallery; Ville Saskia - EA ID tswarbrick. My game is vanilla, never mods or CC.
I read EA’s recommendation that the event be played on a lot without babies or toddlers. This family has a baby that aged up to toddler, and will soon age up to child. Is this the possible issue? I would like to continue with the same family as it’s been skill building with the husband/father of the family.
Also, this is the third time I’ve encountered the issue with the Ambrosia Society letter. The first two times switching out the mailbox worked, but this time that’s not working.
I’ll look in my EA Sims 4 folder for accountDataDB and delete, then launch my game. Do you mind posting the path pls or should it be easily accessible? It sounds like after deleting the file, the game should spawn a new accountDataDB.
I’ll try this and let you know if it’s resolved or any other issues were encountered. I appreciate your assistance. tysm!

I moved the family to its own lot and the event seemed to be working again. I got a message in the mailbox to expedite the letter, and was going to summon Grim to socialize [again]. I exited out of the game and when I went back in there were no quests. I thought I’d broken the event, so I did a repair on my game, but it’s the same.
I looked more closely at the event panel and it says Week 3 - All Quests Completed. I cannot upload a screenshot. :/
Update: I restored the original accountDataDB file and it seems I’m back on track. I think the event doesn’t like Residential Rental lots with several families residing. Will update here if necessary. grazie.
