I bought the Cottage Living expansion pack; however, on my Mac, once I press the faster time button twice, my Sims stop moving or taking the actions I command. I am only playing with one Sim. I have attached a video showing how it is impacting the game, as well as my save file. Here is the link:

I tested your save and it worked fine for me on my M4 Max 16" MacBook Pro. Which exact model Mac and version of macOS are you using?

I use MacOS Big Sur 11.7.8 and MacBook pro 2018. If I create a new world is working fine. But in that world is still an issue.
I had done restart my PC and closed the sims and re-open it. the issue still persist.
Anyway I just have several extension packs

Yeah, I tried 2 times/ 3 times faster is still no impact of the command
To be sure, I was able to be duplicate part of this but only if I double-clicked on the speed button. All was good when I single clicked. Didn't matter which speed.
Do you have the issue when you simply speed up by clicking once on either speed button ?
I tried not to click the speed button, but they didn’t even do it.
I also tried deleting the save files and re-uploading them, but the issue still persists. Could you share a POV of your gameplay?
I can only make it happen on your game not anything else. Don't think you would see me double clicking on the speed buttons in a video.
