Autosolve hunger makes sim shrug and cancel action

So I tried this in 2 different saves and both with and without mods. Noting is in the way of the fridge as they can use it if I click on the fridge and choose an action. 

But when I click on the icon next to the hungerbar the sim just shrugs and cancels the action. And it does not matter how low or high the bar is. This has just started happening after the latest update (sep 2025). 

I looked in the forum but none has the same issue it seems. Or atleast has not reported it. Please advise!
