@DracuAlice2017 yes they still get a loose tooth with ageing off. I always play with ageing off and I have Growing Together and in the 2 households I've played with children, two have lost teeth. One after about 7 hours of playing (real time) and one after about only 30 minutes of playing.
I don't have Vampires though so I can't say I know about any effects of Vampire life.
@simsplayer818 I'm wondering now if it's something to do with children starting off in fresh saves. I checked back on another save where my teen started as a child and for four weeks (two with aging off) he never once got a loose tooth. His sisters, who started off as toddlers and an infant, got loose teeth about a week into the child lifespan. I don't even know if this is a bug or by design.

Are you on PC with any mods? I'm wondering what else would affect it. I'm on Xbox Series X.- DracuAlice20173 years agoSeasoned Ace
@simsplayer818 I'm on PC and I've been playing vanilla since the start of the game back in 2014. So, it might be in my end. I suppose it's not a big deal. Just disappointed.
Edit: These kids (and saves) were created in May (after the patch to reenable the loose teeth feature).
Edit 2: So in my third family, one of my child sims (who is also a spellcaster), got a loose tooth moodlet. So I have gotten it with a child starting in a fresh new save. It's just weird as I've had vampire children in the past (aged from infants/toddlers) who have no problem getting a loose tooth. The other child sim that never got the loose tooth moodlet his entire lifespan was a human with the dormant wolf trait. So, I don't know why game is picky on which kids get the loose tooth and which don't. I know there are some problems with milestones where they just won't be given and you have to save and manage world before loading back in to get milestones. So, that may be it. I'll have to switch back to my vampire family and see if that could be the reason.
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@DracuAlice2017 I wonder if it's a glitch depending on which packs you have? I don't have Werewolves or Vampires but I do have Realm of Magic.
I'll keep an eye out for it in my game. I actually haven't created any Occult children before since I had a glitchy baby Spellcaster ages ago!
