I am in the military and will be out at sea, missing the last two weeks of the reaper rewards event as well as the extra 2 weeks. If I were to bring my laptop with me, will I still be able to load the following week's quests offline and be able to complete them? Or do I need internet to load each new week. Also, if I successfully complete the last two weeks, will I need internet before the event ends to save those rewards?
@isaroscla I'm reasonably sure the new week's rewards won't load unless you connect to the internet after they go live. But you can test this on Tuesday when week 3 begins: sign into the EA App, put it in offline mode, then disconnect from the internet before launching Sims 4.
The window to claim the rewards may shut when the event is over, although I'm not sure EA has made that explicitly clear. You certainly can't claim them without an internet connection, but you can login later and claim rewards with points you earned while offline.
