Can you make dynasty members leave?

is your Sim part of the dynasty ? Do they live in the same neighborhood as your Sim ? Are you friends with them ?

Do you not have the option to make them leave or do they not do it ?

No, they are not part of the dynasty. They are listed as neighbors, and are friends with my sim. I don’t even have the option to make them leave.

Do you remember if they were part of the welcome committee ?

They were, but they actually invited themselves in before the welcome committee even began, then when it did they all went outside to knock on my door. Now my sim has become good friends with them but boundaries would be nice lol

FookinDONUT​ That sounds like a feature of City Living when you live in an apartment.  At least one sim, living in the apartments in same building as your sim, will pay an unannounced visit to your sim almost every day.  Most will know on the door but if they have certain traits, they will just walk right in and make themselves at home.  All of them should have an ask to leave option on them so you can ask them to leave.

There is no option to ask them to leave though, hence why I’m here

FookinDONUT​  The ask to leave option comes and goes I found and it seems to be related to how much friendship you have with the other sims.  So, has one of your sims met them so they get the full social menu.  Talk to them for a while, at least a couple of hours, then look for the ask to leave again.  You can try to make a group and then have the group go outside your apartment, the lock the door to everyone but the apartment residents, then end the group.  You can also travel out, wait a minute or two, and travel back.  If you use mods, MCCC has a cheat to make a sim leave too.

There are similar other threads in the bug forum so currently checking with a CM if they want to treat this separate or have it merged with the main threads.

I did see similar on the early access. For me they mostly went again on their own after a while and there were also specific interactions they kept doing. Some just came in, got a glass of water and left (that has a thread in the bug forum). They also came in to leave gifts for my Sim but I also did have the scenario that you are describing. 

One more question though: Is your Sim in the nobel career ? 

Nope she’s a painter! Small hair to splice, but in the info tab all the Darongs are listed as neighbors but they live in a palace and not the same apartment building as my sim. 

Might be just the usual neighbors invading issue then.
