Can't ask certain sims to be roommate.
My sim has finished university and lives in Willow Creek. He already has 2 roommates, his boyfriend, and his best friend. There's an extra bed in the house not assigned to anyone. He still has an ad for new roommates up. However, for certain sims, there's no "Roommate" category in the dialogue options. So far it's been two sims. One was a random sim named Miguel Stanton and the other was Lana McKinnon, a professor at Foxbury Institute. What makes it so certain sims cannot be roommates, or is this a bug?
The game will not let you ask these types of sims to be roommates by design (the Ask to be Roommate option will not show up at all):
- University professors
- Robots
- Sims who are already roommates at another location, such as university housing
For everyone else, the Ask to be Roommate option should be available (but they won't necessarily accept - for example if they already own a home or live with other people).
