If the table was placed off the lot, I don't believe you will be able to pick it up without the use of a mod. Your best bet is to recover an older version of the save where the sim hasn't yet placed the table and just not do the action. I'm going to list a link to a help page for you, but the only problem with this suggestion is that you may have already saved enough times that you won't find a save prior to the sim taking the action.

Apparently I've already saved it too many times since the problem originally occurred and the earliest save file has the glitched table 😔 Do you know a specific mod that can be used as a quick fix for this? I haven't used mods in a long time, they bugged my games so bad I got fed up, but I am willing to download one for this instance.
The only mod that I know of that may be able to do this for you is Twisted Mexi's TOOL mod. Google him and you should find a link to his Patreon page. Be sure to read all instructions very carefully and follow them exactly, if you want to try the mod. There is even a link to a video for just using the mod in live mode that I think you will want to watch first. It's not as simple as just being able to grab the table.
I have to point out that we did have a patch today 6/17/25. I, personally, wouldn't download a mod the day of a patch release. You can check the modding forum to see if there is any indication of whether or not it is broken, and/or cleared for use but I would still be inclined to wait a few days to see if any issues cropped up that were unexpected.
I, too, play a vanilla game. I weaned off mods and cc towards the end of TS3, but that was just a personal choice. If you try TOOL and it solves your problem, you can always uninstall it afterwards. I don't know if not selling the furniture in a move would work or not, especially since the game isn't recognizing the table as being on your lot.
other than this my only other idea is to move the household, select "pack furniture" and hope it gets packed along with the other million items they have.
