can't go online or connect to gallery

The EA app says im online but every time i try and connect to the gallery it asks me to go online & when i try, an endless loading screen pops up. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but i also can't see the events tab on my main menu, just 'my home' and 'store'. I've tried every single thing i've come across while looking for answers but nothing has helped. It's not my mods, i don't have any anti-virus programs installed and it's also not my wifi. I'm horrible at computer stuff but i've tried everything i could find. Please lmk if anyone else is having this issue
