Can't play

Question

I have a lot with two apartments, a tattoo shop, and a pottery shop. It will not let me assign any of the spaces as residential, business, employees only, or residential rental. Once I set the lot venue type, that is it. The Lorden family coffee shop also doesn't work as a small business, it's just residential, but the Koopman lot works as a small business and residential lot. I can't edit mine at all, therefore I can't play. I have no mods, no CC nor have I ever had it.&nbsp;Additionally, when sims in general visit the New Harbor Park, it says they are at "Base Game Cottage."&nbsp;

Hi babyyartemis when does your game crash and lag ? when you try to assign something ?&nbsp;
Could you post a picture of what you are seeing ?

Hi! Thanks for replying! It just won't let me assign anything. I've tried assigning it as Small Business Venue & then I checked all the other lots and they were set to residential so I tried that too but to no avail. The other households are fine now, I've attached screenshots of my lot compared to the others.

I think I have to register the business, don't I?

the outline appears if you click on the icon&nbsp; next to the sun icon in the middle top section.
If you do that, does it still not work ?
