Can't Travel to Most Public Places - Sims 4

I recently started playing the Sims 4 again after a year or so and downloaded a few stuff packs. For some reason I seem unable to travel to most places that aren't private residences, and  I don't know why. This happened without any CC or mods. I can't go to any parks, for example... I see the description but it doesn't give me the option to travel there. Please help! I have already tried the "repair" option.

    @ahcrazybeautiful Are you clicking on the neighborhood icon or an actual lot ?

    Each neighborhood as a description icon and clicking on that doesn't doe anything, you need to pick a lot and travel there.
