When I tell my sim to vacumm the sim will go to the spot but will cancel the interaction. My house is dusty, lol. I had to install the Broom mod.
No more issues. I did another repair on the game and it worked. I did not clean my folder. Thanks for reaching back out.
FYI I did remove all mods and I still had this problem

Do test a different household on your existing save as well.
