djlolin... ah, then that means this likely IS a bug. Using testingcheats isn't a mod or CC.

Nope, I don't have all the packs/stuff or even all of the expansions, so no wind chimes available in my game. Yeah, as said, I thought the pet possibility, so I carefully watched the problematic Sim... there was no "be woken up" in the queue. I'd even click on pet interaction to see if the "scold for waking up" thing would show. It isn't the pet. What I did find a bit afterwards, was if I made the daughter leave the house, the Sim who wouldn't sleep would get sleep while she was away all night.
Are they sharing the room/bed or something ?

No, the daughter is no longer a child. She is old enough to leave and spend the entire night outside the house to do things. I often take her out fishing or to a library while checking on members still at home via their stats.

Yeah, they have shared a bedroom the entire game because they started out in a house with one bedroom. The mother and now the daughter are saving up to buy a better home where they can someday have two bedrooms as well as get a TV and a dishwasher. XD- Just the bedroom or also the bed ?
They shared the bed before the daughter got the never weary trait. Again, this has never been a problem before and the daughter has been a young adult now for quite a while.
