Chickens and eggs disappearing

A few chickens and chicks disappeared after buying them. At first they showed up in the coop but suddenly the count was smaller. I looked for them everywhere and checked my notifications but there was nothing. Also my sim went to collect some eggs and the notification said there was 2 but they didn't showed up in sim's inventory.
