Chicks and chickens dying (aging ON)

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.111.102.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except two or three kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I do not know.
What happens when the bug occurs? When playing a safe with a chicken coop, Grim appears immediately after opening the game, all chickens have the one last pet thingy, and Grim takes all of them AND the two baby chicks I have. I haven't found a fix so I just end the game without saving.
What do you expect to see? The chicks and adult chickens living their best life.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes. I have not t tried disabling them because this particular safe would look awful without them. I'll try a clean safe when I have a bit more time. I just wanted to report this since I do NOT have the aging off, contrary to the other similar bug reports I have seen here.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I am unsure. I could play the first week of the current holiday challenge, and if I remember correctly, I did not open this safe in a couple of days. And today the problem began.
