I started a new challenge on the sims a few weeks ago and when I came to have kids the game kept crashing and not letting the kids speak to anyone. I removed mods, repaired game, uninstalled and reinstalled and made no difference. I updated the game recently and started again, come to have a kid and can't interact with anyone once it turns into a child. Same thing done and still the same issue. Is there a fix to this because there's literally no point playing if kids can't interact plus now ky games loading for hours even without mods

@Stac3yk Please try this clean-folder test: Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Start a new save to test if your issue recurs. If that works: Exit and copy files out of your old Saves folder into the new Saves folder. Important: Don't just copy the old folder! You want to use the newly created folders. Launch Sims 4 and use Load to select an older save to test. If that works: Copy your old Tray files (this is your Library), Screenshots and Videos files. To test mods, copy the files into the new folder *in batches* with any mods they depend on (injectors and core mods, for example). Don't copy your old resource.cfg file. If you delete any mods from the new folder, delete localthumbcache. I did all this the other week when it happened, repeated it and still not worked. Ive rad a thread from feb that said its to do with maxing creative skills and apparantly it was fixed, but seems to be happening again.

I am having the same issue, I even created a whole new child sim and he won't work. He wont interact with anyone and it wont let me click on anyone.

@NyxMacabre Are you using mods/cc ? If so, did you test without them ?

Yes @crinrict I do play with MODS and yes I did remove all of them to see if that was the problem and unfortunately my child sims still won't interact. Im waiting to see if aging up might solve it because my toddler was fine until they aged up.

Do you have any LastException files in your documents folder ?

Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

If that is the case, please upload

Please either create a .rar file to upload or c/p the content into your post.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

I tried, I don't know what I am doing wrong, now it's spread to teens. This is very frustrating. Is there a way to contact EA?

@NyxMacabre Do you have any lastException files at all ? Which part do you have troubles with ? Finding the file or uploading ?
