[CLOSED] Blast From the Past: Study Historical Display not appearing

If you're outside the museum you get View with Emit's picture; but once you enter the museum Emit's picture is removed from the View option. Viewing art at a museum does seem to complete the step though.

Thanks for the tip! But that combination doesn't work either. I tried a new game, used the original, unchanged Willow Creek Museum, and tried my luck with about 20 base game objects. Unfortunately, to no avail. Does the Sim perhaps need a certain skill that isn't mentioned? Edit & Mysterious: The statue-table combination didn't work, but it worked with the picture! Thanks for all the tips, but I don't understand the logic behind it🤔

After trying several items at the Deadwood Discoveries museum I decided to try a base game museum instead. Still had issues, but eventually the "On the Hunt Statuette" worked for me as well. Specifically the one located at the Municipal Muses museum in Willow Creek.  

This painting worked for me too! I also just let my sim stand there and view until it stopped on its own… even though it seemed like she was going to view it forever lol THANK YOU!

I did try view and it did not work

Placing a base game statue on the ground at a museum and viewing it was what completed the task for me, had the same issue until I did that. 

this was the first one i viewed and it did nothing but I will try again and let you know

it worked this time! I literally did that and went to other sculptures and paintings and in different locations and it didn't want to work. 

I was having this issue. I viewed a statue in the Willow Creek museum, then shift+clicked my sim, and selected Reset Object (Debug). After my sim reset it fulfilled the task. Hopefully this helps for someone else. 

I'm having the same issue. I have went to all the museums and all I'm getting is "view" with Emits face.
