[CoL] Can't complete errand for Kim Goldbloom (cheese and beef wellington)

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.131.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansion packs, All game packs except Batuu, and all stuff packs except Luxury Party.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game and do errand for Kim Goldbloom.
What happens when the bug occurs? I try to deliver the cheese and beef wellington and can't do it.
What do you expect to see? Be able to deliver cheese and beef wellington.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Bought and downloaded Cottage Living.

I get the errand for Kim Goldbloom and try to do the one where you need to deliver cheese and beef welling ton. I have both in my inventory and go to deliver it but the option is greyed out. It says I'm missing cheese. I even have more than 1 cheese in my inventory. I've tried making it and buying it, but neither one works.

@Cat-a-melon The cheese has multiple servings, right ? Can you try take a single serving and then deliver that one ?

EDIT: Yup, that does work for me, single serving of cheese and single serving of beef wellington. I'm inclined to say it's not a bug as the beef wellington explicitly says single serving. The wording could be better for the cheese.

@crinrict i have the issue too and i have 0 mods installed! not even cheats are switched on. it also says i have no cheese. i cooked the cheese and right away put it in my inventory. i bought cheese.. nothing helps

I have the same issue but with mushrooms. I'm suppose to bring one lovely and one spicy mushroom... I have both in my inventory but it's greyed out even though when I hover over it says " - 1 lovely mushroom - 1 spicy mushroom"... like the game can see them in my inventory but it doesn't let me click the bottom... Mushrooms can't be split...

I also have the same issue with the errand of getting her a single serving of food... I have a single serving of vegetable dumplings in my inventory but the option to deliver it is greyed out.

I do not have any mods... ☹️ any tips?

You have to separate the cheese into a single serving. You can do this by selecting the cheese in inventory and clicking "pick up a serving" and then get your sim to put it back in their inventory

I had this errand. I went to the bar and ordered one of each. X out to eat quickly, then place it in your inventory. Do this for both dishes. They cost $9 each. Then deliver them. I had to do mine this way because im living off grid and cant cook some things. Anyways this worked for me. Hope it helps you. 🙂

That worked for me. Although the task says Deliver Cheese and a Single Serving of Beef Wellington to the Creature Keeper". Nothing about "single serving " for the cheese, only for the beef.
