Corrupt save file
I don't know what happened, but this morning I tried to start my save, and it appeared like this. I just went to load my last save, and it started like a New Game, asking what season I want to start ...

@alicem010 Did you close down the game between loading that corrupt save game or just go back to the main menu ?
Did you also delete the localthumbcache file after removing your mods/cc ?
I tested the game by reentering overtime, it was the same as the screenshot.
I didn't remove or delete anything, I use the sims mod manager, so I don't think that's the problem.
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Close the game again
- Copy JUST your save game from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
- Start your save
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
