Cozy Celebrations tasks reset after saving and reloading

I finished all but one task for the first event and then I had to save and quit my game. I was expecting to finish the last task once I will be able to pay again. But alas, I had to redo all the tasks again, since they reset after I loaded my game. They weren't complicated, so, redoing them was not that big of a deal, but still, I should not be forced to redo what I already did, just because I left my game. I did not have this issue with the Grim event. That one kept the progress even after saving and loading. Why Cozy Celebrations don't?

Also, why watching sky or stars on the Lovestruck blanket is not counted towards the event task? I spend hours with my Sim couple watching sky on the blanket before I finally realised it's not counted and did it the normal way.
