Cursor not interacting

My cursor only allows me to click on the save/main menu button & drag myself around my house.. I can’t change sims, interact with any objects or other sims.. you can’t play the game if you can’t interact with anything…. I’ve repaired the game, restarted everything multiple times & even uninstalled the game & reinstalled everything just for the cursor to still not interact with anything. & when you get to the save menu & try to save or exit it freezes on the loading screen.
