Does anyone want story progression in Sim 4?

I hear alot of myth that Mods will fix this but the dev of the mod have been clear that they cannot change the way the core function of the sim 4 works. Their mods cannot add story progression to the game so the NPC cannnot progress and your Sim family line will be deleted once they grow old. Unless you go from family to family trying to progress them.

    @7441c984ccb392b7, I'm too much of a control freak so I just make a new Save Game for every family I make anyway.  So, for me it wouldn't have that much of an impact for many of my families except the ones I play with the most. 😳  I just remember that there were problems with Story Progression in TS3, at least for some people.  🤔  I remember a lot of people wanting to turn it off.  Part of me likes the idea of Story Progression, but part of me wants more control over my game.  😃

    As for Mods, I don't play with them in TS4 (because I had so many problems with them in TS3), but it makes sense that they would have a problem with altering such a core aspect of TS4.  🤨

    I don't think that EA would add such a huge game-changing aspect to a game that is several years old, so if they were to implement Story Prog again, it would be in TS5 (if and when there is a TS5)!  But for that reason, I think your question is an important one! 😉
