Does the Modern Menswear Kit include Pink?

I was just wondering, the modern men's wear kit includes several references to traditionally feminine details (not defending the perception just stating it), like Skirts, etc. I was just wondering if it would go as far as to play with the "New Age" (technically older than the "traditional" sterotype) idea that Men can also wear pink clothes and look however they feel?

I mean, my Sims 4 home is replete with entries about how people can take pride in topics such as LBGT and such; was just hoping the Modern Men's Wear Kit would include some more of those "ideals".

Thanks in advance for your answers. Depending on what I hear back could make the difference between me buying the kit and giving it a pass, no pressure.

  • @LeissaMyst Hi!  I just recently got MMK and haven't played with it very much.  I went through the different options for men.  There are two tops with pink swatches, one bottom that only adds a bit of pink in the design (seen with the tops below), and one full body outfit with two pink-ish (more purple than pink) swatches. The separate skirt does not have any pink swatches. There is a red swatch though.

There are other fullbody outfits with skirts but none of them have pink swatches.

Traditional norms aside, I'm actually having trouble pairing the separate skirt with anything to make it look good.  Mostly I'm not a fan because it is mid thigh.  I would prefer at least knee length skirts because the proportions of the entire outfit on the male form seem skewed to me, like it's too top heavy.  Maybe that's just me.  The fullbody outfits have skirt & pants options which look a little better.   Also, I just don't like the texture and patterns of the skirt.  Again, just my opinion.  All of that aside, I really do like some of the other items and I think the price is worth giving your male sims more options which are severely lacking.

Edt: By the way, if you haven't seen it already, Elliandra has a video on youtube in which she compares the MMK outfits to photos of the real life inspirations.
