Duel for a Sim's Heart issue

Long story short I want my sim to duel Thiago for Cordelia's heart (they are partners, their relationship is full) but when i go to duel Thiago, the option is greyed out and says "These two sims are not romantically involved with the same sim". I know Cordelia and Thiago are still married. Anyone else having this issue/know how to fix it?

    I'm having the exact same issue! Is it impossible to duel for another Sims heart if they're married? That seems counter intuitive tbh.
