I purchased Lovestruck yesterday and my sim purchased a rental property. It was a location located in the new world that came with Lovestruck. It had an elevator when I bought it, and I purchased it furnished so I left the property and filled the tenancy. Went to do a rental inspection and now the elevator is gone! I tried to place one and I couldn't seem to be able to do that either. I don't know what to do to fix this, please help!
I'm so excited because I've actually found a way to fix it. You can change the room back to shared, but that doesn't make the elevator come back. What you have to do is use the sledgehammer tool to delete the little walls that are around where the elevator used to be. Then you can add in another elevator and the requirements will be changed to met. Then you can exit and save your game. Just remember to leave that area as shared after you fix it.
Just changing it back to shared doesn't fix it...at least not always.
how do i mark it as shared? i deleted the walls around where the elevator goes to add it again but it didn’t work😭
you need to go to the world mode, select the apartment lot and enter it in the build mode. Select the room next to the elevator tower, in the appeared menu change it to the shared room. after that you can install it again into the tower
