Endless loading/game freeze since update

Since the new patch/update for the newest expansion, my game is constantly freezing. I cannot select a different sim to play, they cannot move to a new lot, and I cant quit the game without turning off my entire computer. I removed my save folder and opened a new game, and didnt have these issues. Only with my save. No mods
