Family can't be played

I know this is a bit odd but I just updated and I tried opening my last palyed household but it just sits on a forever loading screen, even after it makes the completed sound. I ran the game without mods and I get the same result. I'm able to play with other families and invite my main family out but I can't actually play the family on it's own. I've had random problems with this particular save. I tried an older recovery save with the same family with the same result. I can evict and move a new family into their house but the family itself won't load. They do have mods on them but so do so many of my other sims in the same save. I've deleted the localthumbchache and all that so I'm at my wits end. I'm not sure if the save is corrupted or not.

    Hi LilHunny9009​ 

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    • Delete the ones you have
    • Trigger the error again
    • Check if new ones are created
    • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
