Floor,wall,celling problem need help!

Hello

I build a house that has 4 floors. on the 3 floor there is a part that i removed the floor to have a open space with hight celings with stairs and frence! now i wanted to change it I cant add new floors i get this message "Must be applied to a floor". when i delete a wall the celling is completely gone! what do i do???
