Food Poisoned how does it go away?

My Vampire is now Food Poisoned from eating at the Restaurant for over 2 days what make me wonder how It go away? Medicine at last say that there is no sickness to cure (or something similar).

Beside the +3 Unconvertable and some time without it but with a Unconvertable mood even with a total of +5 happy moodlet there only some short movement sequences but never a running to the toilet or something unless I send him there (but send him to the toilet to throw up change nothing except for having a dirty toilet).

@Schwarzbart00 Do you have Mods or CC? Have you tried leaving the game then coming back?

I play on Mac with aging off, never use Mods or CC, & have played since Sims 1.
I own all packs, run updates immediately, backup daily, & build ...a lot.

@SheriGR Ok Save, going to the main menu and load again appears to fix it.
Its a complet new installed game without any mods but all official expansions except 2.
Sound like a bug to me then, but unless you tell me I should write it as bug I consider it as closed issue.

@Schwarzbart00 I'm so glad to hear that! Yes, I also do not think it was a bug - just a glitch where an issue got snagged into the open household. Sometimes that happens. I think you will be fine now, and am glad the food poisoning passed now (Wow, wouldn't that be awful to have food poisoning for days and days!!)

@SheriGR because it was the first time I had food poisoning despite having over 600 hour of Sims 4 gaming I had to ask here how it was supposed to be. ^^

@Schwarzbart00 Ahhhh... well, hopefully it will be the only time you have to deal with food poisoning. Normally it should pass in a few sim hours, and some people have them take medicine to stop it sooner. Medicine was probably not working for your sim since the time had passed and they were sick via the glitch, not because the food poisoning was really still there. 🙂
