For rent / lease issue

Since I bought and installed "For Rent" pack I am unable to play as landlord. Every time I save and close the game, the lease resets to 7 days so the rent is NEVER paid and I don´t have grace period. I´m stuck. The game should be fun to play, instead, is very frustrating. I feel like I bought the pack for nothing, I only waste my money.
