Former spellcaster still transportalates after becoming a fairy
I had a spellcaster Sim that was max level with all the perks and knew every spell. She had the ability to transportalate and Always Transportalate was toggled on.
When I got the Enchanted by Nature pack, I wanted to turn her into a fairy so I made her a human first, then turned her into a fairy. She's a proper fairy with the fairy skill tree, fairy form, fairy XP and everything, but she still transportalates everywhere by default. While kind of neat, I'd rather she use the fairy abilities to get around. However, I can't toggle Always Transportalate off because that interaction is only available to spellcasters.
I do have MC Command Centre and have looked for a hidden trait/buff to delete that would stop her from transportalating but I can't seem to find anything related to transportalating in the traits and buffs lists.
I really don't want to turn her back into a spellcaster just to toggle off transportalating because I spent hours customizing her fairy form.
Does anyone know of a way to stop my fairy Sim from transportalating everywhere without changing her occult type? I'm open to using mods and cheats.
Replying to update that I found a solution. I figured I'd post it rather than delete the thread in case another player is having this problem.
I dug around in the XML tuning files and managed to find the trait ID for the Transportalate spell.- Bring up the cheat bar with CTRL+SHIFT+C
- type "traits.remove_trait trait_Hidden_Witch_Teleport" without the quotations
- Hit Enter to confirm the cheat
Your non-spellcaster Sim should no longer transportalate everywhere.
