The patch notes said that the news feed wouldn't be there after the maintenance, but it would eventually come back.

Well I guess that says it all as far as how EA feels about content creators. At one time it was against the rules to steal other creators work. However EA didn't want to put in the work to actually police the situation so they changed the rule last summer and implemented a new rule. The rule stated they don't care if someone steals our work, rips it apart and reposts it. How in the same rule EA uses any of our creations in an ad the creator wouldn't be compensated in any way. EA has also set it up so you have to agree with the rules even to play.
As far as I'm concerned the way the gallery is working is a disgrace! However not a surprise because EA has constantly gone back on their word about what they will do for us as players forget creators. We don't matter.
Also not a surprise they hid the post in another. Had the samething happen to me when I posted separately about the gallery being fixed. Our questions are not appreciated.
@ReneHollyDesign1 I agree with you totally. If the orignal EA Lots were properly made and tested it would not be so bad. They are not however so the more popular Creaters those of which are usually on YouTube now design the Lots for new Towns most recently and they are much better.
EA are definately giving the impression that they do not care about Creators. Remember that we have purchased all the Packs so we can create something meaningful.
I for one am really disgusted with this huge company who at the start encouraged the players to freely create and put items on The Gallery so we could all benefit.
IMHO EA you are letting your paying customers down very badly and I have ceased from buying anything else from you until you sort out this mess that you have created and are continuing to create with a faulty App that is not fit for purpose.
I assume I am still entitled to have an opinion and quote relevent points of Law even if you are based in the USA.
UK law on digital refunds
For any faulty digital content, the retailer from whom you purchased the digital content has one opportunity to replace any faulty goods or digital content before you can claim a refund.
