Gallery

Will the Gallery come to console users I am new to this forum so I apologise if this has been asked before it's just on the console we have limited choice and I have seen some good designs on the PC gallery.

@Rachelharris31, I can understand your frustration since I would be the same way if I didn't play on a PC. 😞 I rely on the Gallery since I'm lousy at making houses! So, I sympathize with you, 😢
However, no one really knows if or when there will be a Gallery available to console users. 🤔 Keep in mind that this involves not only EA, but Microsoft and Sony as well. I think I have heard that Sony is dragging their feet, but I have no idea if that is true or not. Also, I have heard that somthing like a Gallery would put a stain on consoles, but again, I don't know if that is the case. Anyway, with 3 companies involved, a Gallery would be a lot more difficult to negotiate and maintain. 🤨
I really hope you get one soon , though!🤞 I have a realative who plays on console and they really want a Gallery too!
Edit to add: sorry about the font sizes. The page messed up as I was sending it and this is what shows up even though I've tried to make the text bigger. 😞

Microsoft would be ok with it but Sony always take forever to decide on anything like I saw a Sims forum saying that they are thinking about letting console users have cc and mod content Microsoft would agree Sony definitely not.

@Rachelharris31, I heard the same thing! 🤨 What is sad is that everyone blames EA for this ! 😞 People have to realize there are 3 parties involved in this! 🤨

To be honest I was blaming EA myself now I realize it's not EAs fault if they do make cc and mods on a Xbox I'll go out and get one.

@Rachelharris31, yes, if that becomes available then that would be a good solution for you. I don't know if that would be good for EA if they let Xbox do this when Sony refuses, because a lot of Sony players will be even more furious is one type of console gets a Gallery or Mods/CC and the other doesn't! 😮😞 It might make things worse for them! ☹️
Also, be very careful with Mods/CC if you ever get it on console. Mods/CC require a lot of work to upkeep! 😞 And if you don't maintain your Mods and CC they will cause problems in your game, and can be difficult to sort out which Mod or CC item is causing the problem if you have a lot of them! A large amount of problems here really end up being a Mods/CC item being outdated , which usually happens anytime EA update the game with a patch like they did this week. Everyone thinks automatically that these are bugs (and sometimes they are) but a great many of them are Mods/CC being outdated.
So, if you are lazy like me 😳 , it is best to avoid Mods and CC! 😃
