Game crashes on cacti casa

  • The game starts loading and then disappears or crashes with no error.
  • I open the game either from the EA app or from Steam. It opens and click on 'resume' It starts to load my save, and then the game instantly closes/disappears.
  • I have also tried opening my save via 'Load Game' and then on the map I click the lot I want to play or build, either option it crashes. To test this, I have tried to go to build mode on another lot, which works. The issue may be with this one lot, which I have spent days building on now.

What I've done so far :

  • Removed all mods and custom content
  • Cleared cache
  • Updated my graphics card

I'm not very good with computer specs and things but I'll try my best to share what might be useful here :

  • processor - intel core i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz
  • RAM 16.0 (15.9 usable)
  • Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (updated to driver version 551.23 after the issue with my game started)
  • Operating System Windows 11 Home

I have since tested the game after the graphics card was updated. I've gone into a household and played them, built on the lot - no issues at all.

I then went back to the lot that crashed (cacti casa in oasis springs) and I could play the family, I could enter build mode but I could not build. I try to place a wall or fence or any item like a sofa or a tree and they immediately disappear so it seems to be an issue with this lot. I can also not upload this lot to the gallery.

@simlunar Do you downloaded the art in a room ? There are issues with certain lots crashing so it's possible that something in that room is the culprit so maybe try deleting it from the your build through build mode.

Save before existing (under a new name), you might get endless loading on exitsing. Then reload into the build and see if it still crashes.
