Game crashes

This has been happening to me as well. Would love to hear if anyone has found a way to solve this! My sim is 3rd generation in gameplay, going through the Strangerville mystery, and I've been trying to get her back home to San Myshuno. I thought that Strangerville might be the issue, but wasn't sure.

    Hello​mdrapisura​ If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

    I split your post as crashing is very individual. 

    • By crashing you mean the game closes and you're back on the desktop ?
    • Are you using mods/cc ?
    • Is this save the only one that crashes or does it happen on a new one as well ?
    • What platform are you playing on ?
    • Is it just that family in the save that makes your game crash or also if you test another ?
