Game not working... at all.

I have been trying to load up my game on EA Play, and when I go to open the game, it continues to the main menu as usual. I try to 'Resume Game', which should bring me directly to the household of the one save that I have, but it is bringing me to the 'World Map' menu page instead. Over, and over, and over again. 

I tried to remove mods, undownload the most current one that I thought might have been associated with my game not loading up, and the constant loop of revisiting the World Map menu when attempting to open my save, and restarted my laptop. Nothing has fixed it, and I don't see anyone else reporting the same issue:(
