Game stuck on loading screen, before main menu, after updating on 12/03/2024

What is your current game version number? Can't get to Main Menu
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all packs except For Rent, Lovestruck and Life and Death. Also, missing a couple of the recent kits

What happens when the bug occurs? I have been trying to launch the game but it won't go past the first loading screen before the main menu
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my game load the main menu so I can choose which save game to play

Please describe the patch or change you made. I downloaded the patch/update today, December 3, 2024 and now my game won't go past the initial loading screen.
My game won't go past the initial loading screen screen so I can access the main menu in order to start playing. This started immediately after updating my game on December 3, 2024. I don't have mods or CC, never have.
