Gender influencing actions not working during pregnancy

So for a few irl weeks now, my game (& other players from my sims 4 fb group) has had an issue where listening to the pop/alternative music stations or eating strawberries/carrots do not work at all for any pregnancy in game. No matter what, my sims will give birth to the complete opposite gender and sometimes have twin or triplets of all the unintended gender.
