Getting kicked out and Rain issues

Does this ever happen to anyone when the game just randomly quits and you lose all unsaved data?

I also been having a problem with the rain going through the roof and ceiling and making it seem like it's raining  inside. When will they fix this? I mean i don't want to shut off the rain because then it'd be kinda pointless to even have the seasons expansion pack.

Also why cant I use the household the I like and just start over with all new relationships woth other sims. It's like everyone I decide to reuse my old sims household it's like Im just continuing where I left off instead of starting anew all over? Does anyone have that problem?
