Getting Sims to plant one plant at a time

You do have to plant them each manually, right ? Maybe you could explain some more.

Yes. Tried asking the community, but couldn't find it here.  Google it, but found nothing as everything seems to be about gardening in general or the gardening cheats. My Sim is at skill level 10. She runs around planting as if demented. Really need to get her to only plant one at a time. Will take a lot longer, but will make the plants needs as well as harvesting come up far more systematically which would be a blessing.  The purpose here is to make "Influence Point" acquisition a lot easier.

No, everything is as usual. I have the seeds laid out in the planters. All she needs to do is plant them which she does. Unfortunately she plants them in no logical pattern at all.  She may plant the tree where I start her, but then she'll skip a planter and plant one or two in the next planter she goes to. Sometimes, it's three. Rarely it's all four. She skips around so much it really does not have any logic. I really need her to take each planter in turn. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

If it really annoys you that much what order they are planted in fill one planter and ask you sim to plant those then move on to the next. Personally I couldn't care less in what order my sims plants the seeds as long as all are planted.

BTW. harvesting always become available at 5:00 AM. It does not have anything to do with when they can be harvested. Some plants do take more days before they bear produce for the first time. This is also not to do with the order in which they were planted.
