[GF] Drama degree does nothing for Acting career

This used to work great, but my sim now has a drama degree ( finally) and there are no bonuses connected to it anymore when you look for a job. There is still for comedian and internet personality.  ...

Did you try joining ? I tested this and while there's not text, my Sim still entered at level 7.

If it doesn't work for you, please remove your cc and test without (you should always test without before reporting in the bug forum.
