Glitches with time since recent update: life & death

since last update & purchase of life & death: the timing is out. the clock runs but everything doesn't catch up. 8am and kids havent left for school (no option to send them) takes 4hrs+ to do 1 task....

On my end, I've noticed that my Sims can no longer eat in the high school cafeteria or buy bubble tea... There don’t seem to be any Sims running the stands. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
