Go to School Mod Problem: House becomes School
Im having issues with the Zerbu Go to School Mod.The mod gives me the option to go with the child to school but the school ends up being my house instead of the school that I have placed in the neighborhood. All of the students show up at my house and the options of school activities appear but my house isn't set as a school as far as I know. Could someone help please?
@SapphirePalmTr3 Are you using the most recent version of this mod? It was updated on 17 January 2020. I'm seeing there is a known issue with the game not automatically recognizing the custom lot types required for this mod to work. This is from Zerbu's Tumblr:
When placing a school lot from the gallery, the game doesn’t always automatically recognise it, and therefore you won’t get the option to follow your Sim to school. To fix this problem, change the lot to a random type, exit Build Mode, enter Build Mode again then change it back.
I can only guess that you might also want to verify that your house did not somehow get designated as a school by checking your lot traits in Build Mode. I am not familiar with this mod but there are additional basic troubleshooting steps listed on Zerbu's Tumblr page, plus a link to a Discord page where you might get the best answers if further troubleshooting is required.
