Phaewalker Please do this:
- Rename the Mods folder.
- Delete the file called localthumbcache.
- Start the game. This will launch you TRULY mod/CC-free, and is the ONLY way to rule out mods causing your issue.
- Go to the game loading menu, load your save, and do a "Save As" so you have a test copy of it.
- Now go into CAS with Sims who are missing hair or clothes. Put the hair and clothes on them and see if they still have it in-game.
"CC" means things made by players. If you got it from Maxis, it's not "CC."
Even though I have done this apparently no one believes me when I say something is happening Without MODS so I put only what the game always which was BE to try and find out what is causing things and it is issues with the game but everyone wants to place blame on the mods. Well I did this as you detailed out and now I cannot log in at all. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
It may not be consider CC I do know what CC is but the only thing was what came with the game and its DLC of which I have them all but these last ones but have not interest in spending any more in a game that I can't play. I tried to play offline and it won't even log in so not sure how that all works either. It is recommended so you can actually play but I guess even that is not working for me. Too much trouble to play anymore. And no good tech support.
Had to reinstall EA app before it would allow me to log back in. So, much fun to repeatedly have to keep reinstalling the app or the game or starting over because you can't play the game the way you want you have to play it and be bored

Phaewalker If you have Better Exceptions, we can't assume no mods/CC causes your issue. You HAVE to try with an empty mods folder to get out of this part of the Forums.
Removing the mods, however, won't fix a naked Sim. Redress them in CAS. Then try again.

No it does not but apparently neither does putting their hair and clothes back on either. I am NOT using any mods NOT even BE. So, it is not being caused by mods. It is a bug in the game and it just randomly seems to be doing it. NOTHING I do fixes it. In fact the issue with suddenly sims not being able to do things that they were doing because something is causing them to think they cannot continue is also random but happens enough to be pure frustrating having to move something around then putting it right back where they started and they continue as if nothing happened. Something is causing it and again there seems to be no fix for it with what I have been doing.
