daily login rewards have been announced via social media, ive updated my game via ea app and repaired it, but don't see the event pop-up on my main menu as shown online. anyone else having this issue?

Maybe later today it starts then. Theres a trick to access all the items already however.
In BB mode, use the new filter called 'event rewards' under the special tab.
Then use the color filters and filter by every colour. All new items show up then 🙂
This doesn't work for CAS however.
@rory_nutt sorry, mind linking the announcement post where it mentions this? Preferably their actual website if you can, not Twitter. I've been trying to find it again to double-check I've not misunderstood what they said and all I keep getting is an error page in Swedish.
Edit: I can't even find the announcement on Twitter. What is going on? Is this whole thing another leak that EA hasn't officially announced yet?
There is no announcement because players aren't meant to know about it until the event officially starts.
The screenshots that are surfacing are not meant to be seen by players yet and instead were found in the game files.
@rory_nutt that makes sense, thank you. I've been pulling my hair out thinking this was yet another bug because I knew I'd seen it somewhere and it looked official.
Me too. In the corner, where the daily rewards is supposed to show, all I see is an advertisement for the new kits. I removed my mods before the patch update so that my game wouldn't be corrupted BUT I'm not seeing this daily award thing. EA, how is this supposed to be rolled out. I don't want to miss these free objects.
How do you redeem the daily reward? People keep saying there is a pop up but I haven't seen one. I have exited and opened the sims several times and checked that I was online but I still have nothing.
