Help me please

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? Not to sure but it doesn’t need any updates atm
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City living and the holiday pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’ve never seen anyone else with this problem
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I make a new sim and go to move them into a new lot all of my other sims as well as their houses disappear and I can’t get them back
What do you expect to see? I should be able to make new sims and still keep my existing ones there
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Whenever I go to move a new sim into the world that I’ve created in cas all my other sims disappear with their houses

  • @oreos115 Hello sorry if you don’t see this till after you’ve tried to do something but for the question how often does it occur I meant to click 49 to 99 I think it was
  • @oreos115 Are you starting a new save maybe by accident ? What is the process you do ? Close the game and next time add a new Sim or do you add more Sims to your game without exiting ?

Click the load button on the main menu to load an existing save.
  • @crinrict Okay I will try that. The process I do is in the start menu I press new game then create the sim then press the tick then put them into the world and by the time I’ve done that all my other sims have disappeared
  • @crinrict Hello I have just re loaded the one I wanted but the girl I had just put in has disappeared. It seems I can’t have both it’s either one or the other could this be because they are on different days/saves because they are on different lots but can’t be in the same world

@oreos115 If they are on different saves, yes than you won't see them in the same save. They all need to be in the same save game.

    Try this:

    - Load the save with your Sim in (this will take you to the map and not to Create a Sim like it does if you start a fresh save).
    - On the Map View, you will see a button in the lower right corner, that lets you create a new family/Sim. Press that
    - You will now be taken to CAS. Create a new family. Then place it.
    - They should now be in the same save.
