Help PC player

So I own every expansion except the life and death. I am having trouble on my game with some bugs I need to know how to fix them without completely starting over. Two of my family’s do the restaurant and vet office but neither one acknowledges that they own them according to the panel. But when I go to map it says my sim owns it so of course I travel there hoping it would fix it but it didn’t so I tried to use panel to buy restaurant and nope still didn’t fix it so then I went out and back into game no fix then I restarted my ea app no fix. I tried to repair game no fix. Another thing, I can’t water my plants in a planter. My chickens are aging and dying rapidly and even when I take good care of my cows they end up leaving due to inadequate care but I take such good care of them 😩 someone tell me how to fix my game! I wanna play it but not while it’s messed up.
